He third did not marry Papia.

844. Emma of Normandy. Born ca 982/984 in Normandy, France. Emma died on 21 Feb 1052 in Winchester, England. Buried in St Martin's Church, Winchester.

In 1002 Emma first married Æthelred II, King of England (802) , son of King Edgar of England (631) (943/944-8 Jul 975) & Æthelflæd of Devon (945-1000). Born ca 968 in Wessex. Æthelred II, King died on 23 Apr 1016 in London, England. Buried in St Paul's, London.

Ethelred (also spelled Æthelred) II, King of England from 978 to 1016, called Ethelred the Unready (“unraed” meaning evil council, that is, he made poor decisions). He ascended the throne after his half brother King Edward the martyr was assassinated in Mar 978. He was a weak king who reigned at the height of Danish power. The Danish invasions resumed in 980. In 1002 Ethelred began a massacre of Danish settlers. When the Danish king Sweyn had control of England at the end of 1013, Ethelred fled to Normandy. He was restored after Feb 1014 when Sweyn died. He was succeeded by his son Edmund Ironside. Later one of his other sons ruled England as Edward the Confessor from 1042 to 1066.

845. Beatrice of Normandy. Born ca 980.

ca 1000 Beatrice married Vicomte Ebles I de Turenne, son of Vicomte Archambaud II de Cambour & Turenne (-aft 993) & Sulpice de Turenne. Ebles I died ca 1030. They were divorced bef 1030.
