Joan married Sir Thomas de Astley, son of Walter de Astley & Isabel [de Astley]. Born ca 1215 in Astley, Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Thomas died in 1265 in the Battle of Eversham.

Sir Thomas de Astley was killed fighting with Simon de Montfort against Henry III.
