William married Joan Strangeways (5143) , daughter of Sir Thomas Strangeways (ca 1390-27 Jan 1440/1) & Catherine de Neville (4873) (ca 1401-ca 1478/1483). Born in Harlsey, Yorkshire. Joan died on 24 Feb 1484/5.
