5963. Edmund Allen. Born ca 1558 in Thaxted, Essex. Edmund died on 12 Sep 1616.

Edmund married Martha Glascock.

5964. Thomas Allen. Born ca 1560 in Thaxted, Essex.¹ Thomas died on 14 Apr 1635 in Little Waltham, Essex.

Thomas Allen, Gent., settled in Goldington, Bedford, where he resided until after 1625, but not long before his death took up his residence at Lttle Waltham, Essex.¹

Will: thomas Aleyn of Little Waltham Essex, gen^t, 5 January 1734, proved 14 Apr 1635. To my youngest son Richard Aleyn my leasehold messuages, lands &c. in the town fields and parish of gouldington in the County of Bedford, lately granted or assured to me the said Thomas by the said richard my son and late being the freehold or inheritance of one John Faldo, late of gouldington gen^t deceased. To my son William aleyn of London grocer hte hundred pounds which he doth now owe unto me. and my will and desire is that he should give fifty of the said hundred pounds unto his son Thomas aleyn and fifty more unto his son William aleyn as a legacy and gift from me. To my duaghter Ursula Mathew, widow, of harlington in Bedfordshire ten pounds. To my son in law Peter Buckley, clerk, twenty pounds. To my son in law Robert Haseldine Esq. five pounds. On 30 Jul 1582 Thomas married Mary Fairclough (5875) , daughter of Thomas Fairclough (5786) (ca 1520-Apr 1559) & Millicent Barre (ca 1525-Jun 1585), in Goldington, Bedfordshire, Eng.¹ Born ca 1555 in Weston, Hertforshire. Mary died in Apr 1631. Buried on 30 Apr 1631 in Goldington, Bedfordshire.¹
