    “Rev. Grindall, b. about 1633; mentioned in the will, in 1679, of his cousin Rev. Grindall Sheaffe, D.D. (Register, ante, vol. iv. p. 219); matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford, June 5, 1631; vicar of Twining, co. Gloucester, in 1665 (Alumni oxoniensis, vol. iv. p. 1655); Vicar of Dymoke, co. Gloucester, from 1667 until his death in 1717, daministration of his estate being given on June 16, of that year, to his son Grindall (Probate Court, Gloucester.) He was summoned by the Heralds for the Visitation of Gloucestershire in 1682 (Bigland’s ‘History of the Countey of Gloucester,’ vol. i. p. 528.)”
