On 18 Apr 1705 when Thomas was 25, he second married Mercy Ellis (13806) , daughter of Lieut. Matthias Ellis (4726) (2 Jun 1657-20 Aug 1748) & Mercy Nye (8 Apr 1652-aft 13 Nov 1744), in Sandwich, MA.185 “The marriage between Thomas Doty of Plimouth and Mercy Ellis of Sandwich was Solemnized before m^r Roland Cotton minestr at Sandwich Apil: 18^th 1705”. Born on 17 Aug 1685 in Sandwich, MA.185 Mercy died 1750/1751.31
