On 3 Jun 1742 when Mary was 21, she married
Jonathan Allen, son of
Lieut. Samuel Allen (5 Feb 1674/5-25 Aug 1725) &
Abigail Webb (13 Oct 1675-aft Mar 1764), in Bridgewater, MA.
Born 8 Feb 1710/1 in Braintree, MA. Jonathan died in Braintree, MA ca Jun 1764.

House & land lately bought of Capt. Ephraim Hunt to be sold to pay funeral & debts &
for my aged mother if she see cause to reside at my house with my family she to be
supplied with the comforts of life and at her decease a decent burial at the expense of
my estate.
To wife Mary 2 cows & 1/3 of moveables & improvement & of whole estate during my
sons minority or till Jonathan arrives at 21 years provided she remains a widow, and
improvement of that part for Samuel or other children until they are 21 etc., & she to
have the improvement of the W. end of the house and after son Samuel is of age he
and Jonathan to keep her a cow winter & summer and provide a suitable supply of
bread, corn, meat, firewood & apples & 1/6 part of the syder made from the orchard,
and if she marry they are to pay her £2/8/ annually.
To son Jonathan 4 acres in the plain field of my home place, S. on Abiathar French, W.
on a division fence between it and the little pasture, N. on pole fence & E. on my own,
and my writing desk & ink case, pen knife, long gun & sword, great coat, black jacket
& hatt.
To son Samuel my short gun & all apparel. To dau. Reliance £30 paid by my two sons
at age and £10 in household goods & the bed her aged grandmother now improves to
be part of her £10. To three daus. Mary, Unis, & Esther 24 acres on eastern most part
of my home place at age & the rest as moveables. Rest of real estate to sons Jonathan
& Samuel, housing & lands, & salt marsh equally when of age.
