On 14 Nov 1751 when Hannah was 20, she married Capt. Gideon Hurlbut, son of Gideon Hurlbut (ca 1688-9 Mar 1757) & Margaret, in Fairfield, CT. Born ca 1728. Gideon died in 1775.

Gideon first married Hannah Taylor, second Hannah (Sherwood) Couch, widow of Joseph Couch.
