The town of Saratoga is located near the center of Saratoga County. It is bounded on the north by the towns of Wilton and Greenfield, on the west by the town of Milton, on the south by the town of Malta, and on the east by the town of Saratoga. The population of Saratoga Springs in 1865 was 7307, the most populous town in Saratoga County.
