2563. King Béla II of Hungary. Born ca 1109 in Hungary. Béla II died on 13 Feb 1141.

Béla II, the Blind, King of Hungary 1131-1141. When Béla was still an infant, his uncle Kálmán blinded Béla and his father Álmos out of dynastic jealousy to preserve the throne for Kálmán’s descendants.

On 28 Apr 1127 Béla II married Jelena of Serbia, daughter of Prince Uros I Nemanjic of Serbia (-1140) & Anna Palaiologina. Jelena died aft 1146.

bef 1132 Hedwig married Adabert of Austria (2258) , son of Margrave Leopold III of Austria (1845) (1073-15 Nov 1136) & Agnes of Franconia (1774) (ca1072/3-24 Sep 1143). Born ca 1107. Adabert died ca 1137/8.

2565. Adelaide of Hungary. Born ca 1105/1107. Adelaide died on 15 Sep 1140.

ca 1123 Adelaide married Duke Sobieslav I of Bohemia (1593) , son of King Vratislav II of Bohemia (1252) (ca 1032/1035-14 Jan 1093) & Swietoslawa of Poland (1271) (ca 1048-1 Sep 1126). Born ca 1075. Sobieslav I died on 14 Feb 1140.
