Stephen III, King of Hungary (1161-1162, and 1163-1172). During the first few years of his reign, he faught with his uncles, László II and István IV, for the crown.

In 1167 István III first married [____] of Halicz, daughter of Prince Jaroslav of Halicz. Marriage was annulled in 1168.

In 1168 István III second married Agnes of Austria (2741) , daughter of Margrave Heinrich II of Austria (2263) (ca 1112-13 Nov 1177) & Theodora Komnene (3017) (-1183). Born ca 1154. Agnes died on 13 Jan 1182.

3478. King Béla III of Hungary. Born ca 1148. Béla III died on 23 Apr 1196.

Béla III, King of Hungary (1172-1196), King of Dalmatia and Croatia.

Béla III first married Maria Komnene (3020) , daughter of Manuel I Komnenos Emperor of Byzantium (2568) (ca 1118-24 Sep 1180) & Bertha von Sulzbach (-ca 1159/60). Born ca 1152. Maria died in 1182. She was poisoned. Marriage was annulled in 1169.

The marriage of Maria Komnene to King Bela III of Hungary was never consumated.

In 1172 Béla III second married Agnes de Chatillion (2700) , daughter of Renaud de Chatillion Prince of Antioch (-1187) & Constance de Hauteville Princess of Antioch (2216) (ca 1127-1163). Born ca 1150 in Chatillon. Agnes died in 1184.

In 1186 Béla III fourth married Marguerite of France Comtesse de Vexin (2401) , daughter of King Louis VII of France (1905) (ca 1120-18 Sep 1180) & Constanza of Castile & León (2367) (ca 1141-4 Oct 1160). Born ca 1158. Marguerite died in 1197 in Acre.

3480. Elizabeth of Hungary. Born ca 1145. Elizabeth died aft 12 Jan 1190.

aft 1157 Elizabeth married King Bedrich of Bohemia (2550) , son of King Vladislaw II of Bohemia (2062) (-18 Jan 1174) & Gertrud of Austria (2266) (ca 1120-4 Aug 1150). Born ca 1142. Bedrich died on 25 May 1189.

In 1172 Ilona married Duke Leopold V of Austria (2742) , son of Margrave Heinrich II of Austria (2263) (ca 1112-13 Nov 1177) & Theodora Komnene (3017) (-1183). Born ca 1157. Leopold V died on 31 Dec 1194 in Graz.
