Ela, a granddaughter of William de Longespée (1176-1226), Earl of Salisbury (a natural son of King Henry II of England), by his wife Ela Devereux (1188-1261) a descendant of the Capetian kings of France, Dukes of Burgundy, and Dukes of Brittany.1

ca 1266 Ela married Sir Roger II la Zouche (4022) , son of Alan II la Zouche (3597) (ca 1203-10 Aug 1270) & Elena de Quincy (3707) (ca 1220/1225-Jul 1296). Born ca 1242 in Ashby, Leicestershire. Roger II died bef 15 Oct 1285 in Ashby, Leicestershire.

3847. Emmaline de Longespee. Born in 1252. Emmaline died in 1291.

In 1276 Emmaline married Sir Maurice fitz Maurice, son of Maurice fitz Gerald (1190-20 May 1257) & Juliana de Cogan (ca 1200-). Born ca 1230. Maurice died in 1286 in Ross, Herefordshire.
