Ela, a granddaughter of William de Longespée (1176-1226), Earl of Salisbury (a natural son of King Henry II of England), by his wife Ela Devereux (1188-1261) a descendant of the Capetian kings of France, Dukes of Burgundy, and Dukes of Brittany.1
