4102. Duke Ludwig IV of Bavaria Holy Roman Emperor. Born on 1 Apr 1282 in Munich. Ludwig IV died in Puch bei Fürstenfeldbruck, on 11 Oct 1347; he was 65.

Ludwig IV "der Bayer", Duke of Upper Bavaria (1294-1347), and Lower Bavaria (1340-1347), King of Italy (1327-1347), German King (1314-1347), Emperor (1328-1347).

In 1324 Ludwig IV married Countess Marguerite d’ Avesnes (4237) , daughter of Count Willem III of Hainault & Holland (3877) (ca 1286-7 Jun 1337) & Jeanne de Valois (4416) (ca 1294-7 Mar 1342). Born ca 1311. Marguerite died on 23 Jun 1356 in Le Quesnoy. Buried in Valenciennes.
