ca 1450 Matilda second married Sir Edward Sutton (5331) , son of John Sutton (5186) (25 Dec 1400/1-30 Sep 1487) & Elizabeth Berkeley (5079) (ca 1400-8 Dec 1478). Born aft 1422 in Dudley, Staffordshire. Edward died on 6 Jul 1483.

5375. John Clifford. Born ca 1435. John was baptized in Conisborough Castle, Yorkshire, on 8 Apr 1435. John died on 28 Mar 1461 in the Battle of Towton, Ferrybridge, Yorkshire.

John Clifford, ninth Lord Clifford of Skipton. He was determined to avenge his fathers death. The Duke of York was killed in the battle of Wakefield in 1460, and Clifford as principle Red Rose.

He was Knighted on the battlefield as a reward for the death of so many men. He is reputed to have cut of York's head and put it on the gates of York. He is also said to of killed York's teenage son, Edmund, Earl of Rutland, in cold blood after he had surrendered thus earning the nickname Butcher.

ca 1453 John married Margaret Bromflete (5367) , daughter of Sir Henry de Bromflete (5123) (ca 1400/1410-6 Jan 1465/6) & Eleanor FitzHugh (5272) (-30 Sep 1457). Born ca 1436 in Lonsborough, York. Margaret died on 12 Apr 1493 in Lonsborough, York.

On 10 Aug 1446 Elizabeth first married Richard Hamerton, son of Laurence Hamerton (ca 1380-1449) & Isabel Tempest. Born ca 1401 in Hamerton, Yorkshire. Richard died in Oct 1480 in Hamerton, Yorkshire.

In 1453 Elizabeth second married Sir William Plumpton, son of William Plumpton & Elizabeth Stapleton. Born on 28 Feb 1435/6. William died ca 1462.

5377. Robert Clifford. Born ca 1437. Robert died on 2 May 1485 in Tower Hill, London. He was beheaded. Buried in Austin Friars, London.

Robert married Jane Courtenay, daughter of Thomas Courtenay Earl of Devon & Margaret Beaufort.
