5699. Sir Ralph Eure. Born on 24 Sep 1508 in Mitton, Yorkshire. Ralph died in Ancrym Moor, England, on 6 Mar 1544/5; he was 36. Buried in Melrose Abbey.

Sir Ralph Eure, Warden of the East Marches, Constable of Scarborough Castle, died at the Battle of Ancrum Moor with the Scots. He was a Member of Parliament from Scarborough, 16 Jan 1541/2 to Dec 1545.

Ralph married Margery Bowes (5697) , daughter of Sir Ralph Bowes (5576) (ca 1488-Apr 1516) & Elizabeth Clifford (5648) (ca 1487/1490-). Born ca 1506 in Streatlam, Durham.

5700. Muriel Eure. Muriel died on 23 Nov 1557 in Wycliffe, North Riding, Yorkshire.

ca 1535 Muriel first married Sir George Bowes (5698) , son of Sir Ralph Bowes (5576) (ca 1488-Apr 1516) & Elizabeth Clifford (5648) (ca 1487/1490-). Born ca 1501. George died in 1546. Buried in Alnwick Castle, Northumberland.

Muriel second married William Wycliffe.
