On 20 Apr 1620 Olive married Rev. Thomas James, son of Rev. John James (-1612), in Fishtoft, Lincolnshire.16 Born ca 1595 in Boston, Lincolnshire. Thomas was baptized in Boston, Lincolnshire, on 5 Oct 1595.6 Thomas died in Needham, Suffolk Feb 1682/3.6 Religion: Thomas and Elizabeth James were admitted to the Boston church as members #149 and #150 in 1632.16 Education: Emmanuel College, Cambridge, B.A. 1615, M.A. 1618.

Thomas came to New England 1632, returned to England about 1648, and became minister at Needham, Suffolk, Eng.6

Thomas, of Lincolnshire, came to New England in 1632. He resided first at Charlestown, then Providence in 1637, New Haven in 1639, Virginia in 1642, New Haven, and returned permanently to England in 1649.16
