The surname Page has been perpetuated in Hingham in localites known as “Page’s Bridge” and “Page’s Meadows”, but I [Lincoln] have not ascertained definitely what the christian name of the father of this surname born here was. There are good reasons, however, for believein ti was John, who was afterwards of Haverhill. The mother, undoubtedly, was Mary, daughter of George Marsh, one of the early settlers of Hingham.
