ca 1139 Godfrey VI married Luitgarde von Sulzbach (2094) , daughter of Graf Berenger II von Sulzbach (2341) (ca 1080-3 Dec 1125) & Adelaide von Wolfratshausen (1620) (ca 1084-11 Jan 1126). Born ca 1110/1120 in Sulzbach. Luitgarde died ca 1163.

1659. Adeliza of Louvain. Born ca 1103/1105. Adeliza died on 23 Apr 1151 in Afflighem, Flanders.

On 29 Jan 1122 Adeliza first married King Henry I of England (1500) , son of King William I of England (1329) (14 Oct 1027-10 Sep 1087) & Matilda of Flanders (1179) (ca 1032-2 Nov 1083), in Westminster Abbey. Born in 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire. Henry I died on 1 Dec 1135 in St. Denis-le-Fermont, France. Buried on 4 Jan 1136 in Reading Abbey, Reading.

Henry I, “Beauclerc”, King of England (1100-1135), succeeded his older brother William I upon his death by means of a coup d’état which excluded his brother Robert II duke of Normandy who was on crusade. Robert invaded England in 1101 but did not succeed. Henry invaded Normandy in 1105 and imprisoned Robert for life. Henry tried to secure the succession for his daughter Matilda which lead to a civil war between Matilda and Stephen. His nephew Stephen succeeded him.

Adeliza second married William d’ Aubigny Earl of Arundel (2770) , son of William d’ Aubigny Lord of Buckingham (ca 1070-1139) & Maud Bigod (2295) (ca 1082-). Born ca 1100 in Buckingham, Norfolk. William died on 12 Oct 1176 in Waverly, Surrey.
