2217. King Friedrich II Roger of Germany. Born on 26 Dec 1194 in Lesi. Friedrich II Roger died in Castle Fiorentino, on 13 Dec 1250; he was 55.

Friedrich II Roger, King of Germany (1197-1250), King of the Two Sicilies (1198-1250), Duke of Swabia (1212-16), and as Friedrich IV, Emperor from 1220.

In 1209 Friedrich II Roger first married Constanza of Aragon (2839) , daughter of King Alfonso II of Aragon (2520) (25 Mar 1157-25 Apr 1196) & Sanchia of Castile & León (2369) (21 Sep 1154-9 Nov 1208), in Messina. Born ca 1179. Constanza died on 23 Jun 1222 in Catania.

In 1225 Friedrich II Roger second married Isabella II de Brienne Queen of Jerusalem (3332) , daughter of Jean de Brienne Emperor of Constantinople (ca 1168-21 Mar 1237) & Maria di Montferrato Queen of Jerusalem (2848) (ca 1181-1212), in Brindisi. Born in 1211. Isabella II died on 8 May 1228 in Andria.

Yolande, also called Isabella, II, Queen of Jerusalem (1225-1228).

ca 1233/4 Friedrich II Roger third married Bianca Lancia. Bianca died 1233/4.

On 20 Jul 1235 when Friedrich II Roger was 40, he fourth married Isabel Plantagenet (3239) , daughter of King John of England (2751) (24 Dec 1167-19 Oct 1216) & Isabel Taillifer d’ Angoulême (2893) (ca 1186/1188-31 May 1246), in Worms. Born in 1214. Isabel died on 10 Dec 1241.

He fifth did not marry Blanche Lancia.
