On 14 Jan 1236 when Henry III was 28, he married Eleanor de Provence (3621) , daughter of Ramon Berenguer V de Provence (3322) (ca 1195/1198-19 Aug 1245) & Beatrix di Savoia (3177) (ca 1201/1206-Dec 1266), in Canterbury, Kent. Born ca 1219/1223. Eleanor died on 25 Jun 1291 in Amesbury, Wiltshire. Buried in Convent Church, Amesbury.

On 13 Mar 1231 when Richard was 22, he first married Isabel Marshal (3380) , daughter of Sir William Marshal (ca 1146-14 May 1219) & Isabel de Clare (2901) (ca 1171/2-1220), in Fawley. Born on 9 Oct 1200 in Pembroke Castle, Pembrokeshire. Isabel died in Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, on 15 Jan 1240; she was 39. Isabel died in childbed. Buried in Beaulieu, Southampton.

On 16 Jun 1269 when Richard was 60, he third married Beatrix von Valkenburg in Kaiserslautern. Born ca 1253. Beatrix died on 17 Oct 1277.

In 1221 Joan married King Alexander II of Scotland (2917) , son of King William I of Scotland (2449) (1142/3-4 Dec 1214), in York. Born in 1198. Alexander II died in 1249.

Alexander, king of Scotland (), succeeded his father William I and was succeeded by his son Alexander III.

3239. Isabel Plantagenet. Born in 1214. Isabel died on 10 Dec 1241.

On 20 Jul 1235 Isabel married King Friedrich II Roger of Germany (2217) , son of King Heinrich VI of Germany (2597) (1165-28 Sep 1197) & Constance de Hauteville (1739) (1154-1198), in Worms. Born on 26 Dec 1194 in Lesi. Friedrich II Roger died in Castle Fiorentino, on 13 Dec 1250; he was 55.

3240. Eleanor of England. Born ca 1215 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. Eleanor died on 13 Apr 1275 in Montargis Abbey, Loiret, France.

On 23 Apr 1224 Eleanor first married William Marshal Earl of Pembroke (3375) , son of Sir William Marshal (ca 1146-14 May 1219) & Isabel de Clare (2901) (ca 1171/2-1220). Born ca 1190. William died on 6 Apr 1231 in London, England.

ca 1237 Eleanor second married Simon V de Montfort. Born ca 1208/9. Simon V died in 1265.
