3746. Isabela de Aragon. Born ca 1243/1247. Isabela died on 28 Jan 1271 in Clermont, Auvergne. Buried in St Denis, Paris.

Isabelle died from the fall from a horse.

On 28 May 1262 Isabela married King Philip III of France (3766) , son of King Louis IX of France (3341) (25 Apr 1214-25 Aug 1270) & Margarite of Provence (3622) (ca 1221-20 Dec 1285), in Clermont-en-Auvergne. Born on 1 May 1245 in Poissy, Yvelines. Philip III died in Perpignan, Pyranees Orientales, France, on 5 Oct 1285; he was 40. Buried in St Denis, Paris.

Philip III the Bold, king of France (1270-1285), crowned at Reims 15 Sep 1271. He annexed the county of Toulouse to the royal domain in 1271. He died while campaigning in Spain.
