On 27 Mar 1329 Philippe III married Queen Juana II of Navarre (4432) , daughter of King Louis X of France (4403) (4 Oct 1289-5 Jun 1316) & Marguerite de Bourgogne (4140) (1290-14 Aug 1315), in Château de Conflans. Born on 28 Jan 1311. Juana II died in Château de Conflans, on 6 Oct 1349; she was 38.

4431. Jeanne d’ Évreux. Born ca 1310. Jeanne died in 1371 in Brie-Comte=Robert. Buried in St. Denis, Paris.

In 1325 Jeanne married King Charles IV of France (4407) , son of King Philip IV of France (4112) (1268-29 Nov 1314) & Queen Juana I of Navarre (4099) (14 Jan 1273-2 Apr 1305), in Paris. Born in 1295. Charles IV died on 1 Feb 1327 in Château du Bois-de-Vincennes. Buried in St. Denis, Paris.

Charles IV, King of France (1322-1327), and as Carlos I, King of Navarre (1322-1327); also count de La marche 1314. The question of succession after his death began the Hundred Years War between England and France. Edward III of England had a claim to the French throne as his mother Isabella was Charles IV’s sister. An assembly of magnates decided in favor of Charles IV’s cousin Philip, Count of Valois, who became Philip VI, King of France.
