On 1 Nov 1344 Matilda married Ralph de Stafford (4803) , son of Ralph de Stafford Earl of Stafford (4517) (24 Sep 1301-31 Aug 1372) & Margaret d’ Audley (4549) (ca 1318/1325-7 Sep 1347). Ralph died in 1347.

4681. Blanche of Lancaster. Born on 25 Mar 1343. Blanche died in Bolingbroke Castle, on 12 Sep 1369; she was 26. Buried in St. Paul's Cathedral, London.

On 19 May 1359 when Blanche was 16, she married John of Gaunt Duke of Lancaster (4525) , son of King Edward III of England (4274) (13 Nov 1312-21 Jun 1377) & Philippa of Hainault (4238) (24 Jun 1311-15 Aug 1369), in Queen’s Chapel, Reading. Born on 24 Jun 1340 in St. Bevan Abbey, Ghent, Flanders. John died in Leicester Castle, London, on 3 Feb 1399; he was 58.2 Buried in St. Paul's Cathedral, London.
