5042. Henry le Scrope. Born ca 1377 in Masham, Yorkshire. Henry died on 5 Aug 1415 in Southampton.

Henry, third Baron Scrope of Masham. He was found guilty of treason, being privy to the plot of the Earl of Cambridge, and beheaded at Southampton.

On 6 Sep 1410 Henry first married Joan de Holand (4978) , daughter of Thomas de Holand Earl of Kent (4674) (ca 1354-25 Apr 1397) & Alice FitzAlan (4691) (ca 1352-17 Mar 1415/6). Born ca 1380 in Upholand, Lancashire. Joan died on 12 Apr 1434.

On 11 Jul 1398 Henry second married Phillipa de Bryan in Masham, Yorkshire.

5043. Sir John le Scrope. Born ca 1380/90 in Masham, Yorkshire. John died on 15 Nov 1455 in Masham, Yorkshire. Buried in Scrope Chapel, York Minster.

John, fourth Baron Scrope of Masham.

On 24 Aug 1418 John married Elizabeth de Chaworth, daughter of Sir Thomas de Chaworth (ca 1380-17 Feb 1458/9) & Nicola Braybrook, in Nottingham, England. Born ca 1395 in Wiverton, Nottinghamshire. Elizabeth died bef 12 Mar 1466/7 in Masham, Yorkshire.
