5285. John le Scrope. Born ca 1424 in Masham, Yorkshire. John died on 18 Sep 1452.

John married Margaret Dacre (5139) , daughter of Sir Thomas Dacre (5300) (27 Oct 1387-5 Jan 1457/8) & Philippa de Neville (4864) (ca 1386-aft 8 Jul 1453). Born ca 1424 in Naworth, Cumberland. Margaret died aft 1452.

5286. Eleanor le Scrope. Born ca 1424/1428 in Upsall, Yorkshire. Eleanor died ca 1471 in Brancepath, Durham.

Eleanor first married Richard Darcy (5391) , son of Sir John Darcy (5167) (ca 1400-bef 27 Apr 1458) & Joan Greystoke (5335) (ca 1408-). Born ca 1425 in Templenewsom, Yorkshire. Richard died bef 1456 in Templenewsom, Yorkshire.

Richard did not inherit Knaith since he died before his father did.
