William was baptized in Hoo Manor, Luton Hoo, Bedfordshire, on 23 Apr 1373. William died on 18 May 1445 in Woodham Ferrers, Essex. Buried in Ulverscroft Priory.
William, fifth Baron Ferrers of Groby. In 1394 he attended King Richard II in Ireland. In 1399 he gave his assent to to the secret imprisonment of that king.
