Richard married Eleanor le Scrope (5286) , daughter of Sir John le Scrope (5043) (ca 1380/90-15 Nov 1455) & Elizabeth de Chaworth (ca 1395-bef 12 Mar 1466/7). Born ca 1424/1428 in Upsall, Yorkshire. Eleanor died ca 1471 in Brancepath, Durham.
