Sancho, the Wise, king of Navarre (1150-1194). He was succeeded by his nephew Theobald I (son of Sancho’s sister Blanche).

On 20 Jul 1153 Sancho VI Garcés married Sancha de Castile (2366) , daughter of King Alfonso VII of Castile & León (1874) (1 Mar 1105-21 Aug 1157) & Berenguela of Barcelona (2004) (ca 1116-15 Jan 1149), in Carrion. Born ca 1137. Sancha died on 4 Aug 1177. Buried in Cathedral de Santa Maria, Pamplona.
