Born on 5 Mar 1133 in Le Mans, Sarthe, France. Henry II died in Chinon Castle, Indre-et-Loire, on 6 Jul 1189; he was 56. Buried on 8 Jul 1189 in Fontrevault Abbey, France.

Henri, Count of Anjou (1151-1189). As Henry II, King of England (1154-1189), succeeding Stephen, and succeeded by his son Richard I.
