In 1276 Hugues XII second married Beatrix de Bourgogne (3786) , daughter of Duc Hugues IV de Bourgogne (3488) (9 Mar 1212-27 Oct 1272) & Yolande de Dreux Comtesse d’Ossone (3350) (ca 1212-1248), in Pau. Beatrix died in 1329 in Cognac. Buried in Angouleme, France.

ca 1253 Alice married Gilbert de Clare Earl of Gloucester (4081) , son of Richard de Clare (3699) (4 Aug 1222-15 Jul 1262) & Maud de Lacy (4009) (ca 1223-bef 10 Mar 1288/9). Born on 2 Sep 1243 in Christchurch, Hampshire. Gilbert died in Monmouth Castle, Wales, on 7 Dec 1295; he was 52. Buried in Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucester. Marriage was annulled in 1285.
