3862. Agnes de Ferrers. Agnes died aft 9 May 1281.

Agnes married Sir Robert II de Muscegros (3579) , son of Sir John de Muscegros (3135) (10 Aug 1232-8 May 1275) & Cicily Avenal (-bef 10 Aug 1301). Born ca 1252. Robert II died on 27 Dec 1280.

Their children include:

3863. Robert de Ferrers. Born in 1239. Robert died in 1279.

Robert, earl of Derby.

Robert first married Mary de Lusignan (3791) , daughter of Hugues XI de Lusignan (3369) (1221-1250) & Yolande de Dreux Comtesse de Penthievre & Porhoet (3352) (1218-10 Oct 1272). Born in 1242. Mary died aft 1266.

On 26 Jun 1269 Robert second married Eleanor de Bohun (3870) , daughter of Sir Humphrey VI de Bohun (3449) (ca 1220-27 Oct 1265) & Eleanor de Braose (3802) (ca 1230-ca 1249/1251). Born ca 1246 in Chartley, Staffordshire. Eleanor died on 20 Feb 1313/4.

3864. Sir William de Ferrers. Born in 1240. William died on 20 Dec 1287.

William is the second son, titular Earl of Derby since his elder brother was deprived of the earldom in 1265; - his mother gave him the manor of Groby in Liecestershire and he assumed the arms of the family of De Quincy (his maternal forebears). Burke's "Dormant Peerages" (1883, p. 198) states that he married 1st "Joane, dau. of Hugh le Despencer; and 2ndly, Eleanor, dau. of Matthew Lovaine" and that his two children were by Joane (William, his successor, and Anne [who m. John, Lord Grey of Wilton]); and reports that he died in 1288. Collins, "Royal Ancestors...," gives his death date as 20 Dec 1287.

William first married Anne le Despencer (4215) , daughter of Sir Hugh le Despencer (ca 1220-4 Aug 1265) & Aline Basset (3858) (ca 1237-Apr 1281). Born ca 1248.

William second married Eleanor de Louvain (3980) , daughter of Matthew de Louvain (3547) (ca 1237-May 1302) & Helisant. Eleanor died aft 3 May 1326.

3866. Joan de Ferrers. Joan died on 19 Mar 1309/10.

ca 1267 Joan married Sir Thomas de Berkeley (4063) , son of Lord Maurice de Berkeley (4 Apr 1218-4 Apr 1281) & Isabel de Chilham (3662) (ca 1218-7 Jul 1276). Born ca 1248 in Berkeley Castle, Gloucestershire. Thomas died on 23 Jul 1321 in Bristol, Gloucestershire.

Thomas, called The Wise.
