On 1 Oct 856 Judith first married King Æthelwulf of Wessex (284) , son of King Egbert of Wessex (255) (775-4 Feb 839) & Raedburh (245) (ca 788-), in Verberie-sur-Oise. Born ca 806 in Wessex, England. Æthelwulf died on 13 Jan 858. Buried in Stamridge.

Æthelwulf, king of Wessex from 839 to 856, succeeding his father. While on pilgrimage in Rome that his son Æthelbald would resist his return. He left his son as king of Wessex, but ruled in Kent and dependencies until his death.

They had no children.

In 858 Judith second married King Æthelbald of Wessex (324) , son of King Æthelwulf of Wessex (284) (ca 806-13 Jan 858) & Osburh (ca 810-860). Æthelbald died in 860.

Æthelbald, king of Wessex, refused to allow his father to return to the kingdom after a pilgramage to Rome. He married his father’s widow, Judith of France.

They had no children.

On 13 Dec 862 Judith third married Count Baldwin I of Flanders, son of Count Odacre of Flanders (-864), in Auxerre. Born ca 837/840 in Flanders. Baldwin I died on 2 Jan 879 in Arras, France.

Baldwin I, count of Flanders (862-879). He was captured by Bulgarians and killed at Arras.

In Mar 862 Louis II first married Ansgarde of Burgundy, daughter of Count Hardoin of Burgundy & Guerimburga. Ansgarde died ca 882. They were divorced in 866.
