4226. Sir Maurice de Berkeley. Born in 1271 in Berkeley Castle, Gloucestershire. Maurice died on 31 May 1326 in Wallingford Castle, Oxfordshire. Buried in St Augustines, Bristol, Gloucestershire.

ca 1289 Maurice first married Eva la Zouche (4259) , daughter of Eudo la Zouche (4023) (ca 1244-bef 25 Jun 1279) & Millicent de Cantelou (3959) (ca 1250/1255-bef 7 Jan 1298/9). Born ca 1278/1280 in Harringworth, Northamptonshire. Eva died on 5 Dec 1314. Buried in Church Portbury, Somerset.

In 1316 Maurice second married Isabel de Clare (4160) , daughter of Gilbert de Clare Earl of Gloucester (4081) (2 Sep 1243-7 Dec 1295) & Alice de Lusignan (3790) (-1290). Born on 10 Mar 1263. Isabel died in 1358.
